Physics Lab

Exploring the quantum of Physics, Exploratory Physics Laboratory is designed so as to focus the basic concepts in Physics. Large numbers of activities are designed to serve the purpose as this is the biggest lab. We have two telescopes which we use during the celestial events, a well equipped dark room for Optics as well. We have a unique chair, designed by our founder late Dr. V. G Bhide, to demonstrate the concept of conservation of Angular Momentum. We have a high quality Mercury Barometer to measure the atmospheric pressure. Also some musical instruments to demonstrate the science in sound and music. This lab is well equipped to conduct the practical of board examinations. We conduct board examination practical training in 2 sessions. Various workshops comprising of various activities are conducted throughout the year. It comprises Homi Bhabha Young Scientists Exam practical training as well

Earth Science Lab

The purpose of this lab is to aware students about environment and the natural processes around us. The motto is to enable hands on learning; it has proved itself towards the better promotion of science education. The lab showcases unique samples of rocks and minerals, the advanced technology of GPS, navigation and Google earth are introduced to the students. Some interesting activities like;

  • Weather experiments with advanced instruments to initiate the interest in weather study.

  • Water monitoring.

  • Pollution monitoring.

  • Soil analysis etc

Life Science Lab

Muktangan Exploratory has a beautiful Life Science lab with state of the art equipments. It has a large collection of plant, animal, insect’s specimens and unique models based on human body organs, cell & cell division, DNA, Laws of Genetics, Aquarium and Terrarium. These models and specimens help students visualize Life Science in its true essence.Through variety of advanced microscopes students enjoy the view of Microscopic world.Besides microscope the lab has equipments like incubator, hot air oven, digital hot water bath, autoclave, laminar flow etc. with these facilities students perform experiments in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Tissue culture.

Experiments and activities based on Botany, Zoology, Human Biology Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell biology, Genetics and Tissue culture are conducted for students which they thoroughly enjoy and get a deeper understanding in this dynamic subject of Life science.In the Life science lab exciting experiments and activities are designed as per the age group/ std of students.In the Life sciences Lab students get the chance to  handle the microscopes and make their own slides. They learn to make many innovative models like Terrarium, lungs model, stethoscope, skeleton. Students take home all such things which they  make in the lab. There are innovative demo kits for better understanding of topics like Respiration, food nutrition  etc

Mathematics Lab

Mathematics Laboratory is a unique laboratory in Muktangan Exploratory.  Teaching mathematics to school students is very challenging job . Most of the mathematical concepts are very abstract which students could not visualize or imagine, so they find it difficult to understand and thus they lose interest in maths.

In the exploratory all students from   5thstd  from 10thstd     learn maths   through hands on experience. Each student learns concepts in mathsand its application by performing activities individually or in a group.  In this way student understand the importance of learning   math’s intheir day to day life.

Various maths topics according to their standards are covered like , fractions, types of numbers their properties, Triangles ,quadrilaterals, circles, Algebraic expressions equations,  sequences , probability, trigonometry, Area, volume  etc.

In the exploratory children learn maths by making models, solving puzzles, playing games also. It improves their thinking and logical understanding.   In this by observation, experience, and application they learn concept thoroughly.
